As a woman of color from Baghdad, Iraq, my love for hair has been a lifelong journey, rooted in a desire to empower women, especially in a culture where beauty often felt unattainable. Growing up, I witnessed firsthand how many women struggled with self-esteem and societal pressures, which ignited my passion for helping them feel beautiful and confident.

When I moved to America, it was a transformative experience that opened doors for me to share the gift of beauty with women from diverse backgrounds. I dedicated my early years to mastering the art of hair, becoming acutely aware of each woman’s unique needs and how hair can be a powerful expression of identity. This journey led me to beauty school, where I met incredible women and learned from the best mentors in the industry. Their guidance refined my skills, allowing me to not only become a talented hairstylist but also a trusted confidante for my clients.

After years of exploration and making a home in new and unfamiliar places, I discovered that the salon chair is where I feel most at home. It’s a place of creativity, connection, and transformation. My goal is to create an environment that feels like home for everyone who walks through my doors, where they can express themselves freely and leave feeling empowered and beautiful.
